As per the latest information, most of the pending files for new projects have been approved. A total of 100 plus projects got approval in this week.

 

The builders of Surat had a huge waiting time for their project approval from the Surat Municipality in the last year. Thus the number of projects getting launched in last 12 months or so have been lesser. Thus as the supply was limited the price of the properties went up and up lately.
As these projects got approval, a huge number of pending projects will now be launched near about Navratri to Diwali time.

This can create an instant increase in the supply. Apart from that higher interest rate and un-certainties in global market will keep buyers away for a while.
So looking at these scenarios you can expect some discounted properties after Diwali.

    I think Area between Canal road and Vesu and behind university, the new projects listing will be around 3500 to 5500 (the non so luxurious) and as the builders struggle to get bookings it can go down upto 20-30%. In adajan Pal it can go down about 10-20%
